Why order Chaos Costume hooves?
Our canine paws are constructed with a high strength resin fused to a pair of custom manufactured heelless 4 inch shoes. The arch is reinforced with a metal shank and covered in rigid plastic. This effortlessly keeps that beautiful silhouette and therefore, does not bend.
Our traction system helps prevent slippage on smooth surfaces while maintaining a cute paw print. It is made out of a hidden 1/4 inch deep reservoir of Hot Melt EVA adhesive, that is essentially a derivative of hot glue. It is held in with both an adhesive and mechanical bond. It's easy to replenish at home!
The leg coverings are plain knee - thigh high leggings. They are installed via a line of velcro at the base of the shoe, making them both removable and replaceable as desired.
Due to the care in our design and construction, our shoes are extraordinarily stable, and do not easily roll back. These are best suited for flat terrain. If you are new to heels, we recommend practicing with them before you wear them out and about and/or considering implementing a walking aid into your costume. Keep in mind that high heeled shoes do not acquire the stereotype of being uncomfortable for nothing, as they require you to shift your balance forward as if you are walking on your toes. We personally and rigorously have field tested these hooves and can answer any questions you have!
